SailPoint Senior Consultant – Identity & Access Management (IAM)

Overview
We are assisting a prestigious and long-established institution in Hong Kong, widely recognized for its world-class operations, integrity, and technology leadership, to recruit a SailPoint Senior Consultant for its expanding Identity & Access Management (IAM) team.
Following a successful enterprise-wide deployment of the SailPoint platform, the organization is now focusing on system optimization, operational excellence, and continuous enhancement to meet the evolving needs of multiple business units. The selected candidate will begin working remotely for the first six months, followed by relocation to Hong Kong to join the core technology team on-site.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the daily operation, optimization, and maintenance of the SailPoint IAM system in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Collaborate closely with diverse business units and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, enhance user lifecycle processes, and implement identity governance improvements.
• Lead enhancement initiatives, including connector development, configuration changes, and new application integrations.
• Ensure the IAM platform aligns with security governance frameworks and corporate access policies.
• Perform system monitoring, incident resolution, and troubleshooting to maintain optimal system performance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and process guidelines.
• Conduct knowledge transfer and mentoring to support internal IAM operations teams.
Contribute to the long-term IAM roadmap and modernization strategy.
Key Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in IT security, with 2–3 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ.
• Strong understanding of Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) concepts and access lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and enhancing enterprise IAM platforms.
• Experience with PAM, SSO, PKI, or cloud IAM (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Chinese language skills are an added advantage).
• Independent, proactive, and committed to long-term collaboration.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for an IAM Engineer position.
Work Arrangement & Relocation
• First 6 months: Fully remote (home-based, overseas).
• After 6 months: Relocation to Hong Kong for permanent on-site engagement.
• Compensation: Competitive package, with salary adjustment aligned to Hong Kong market standards upon relocation.
• Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship will be provided.
