Job Overview:
Our client, an innovative IT firm based in Hong Kong, is expanding into Malaysia, setting up an office to enhance support for its Hong Kong operations. As a Network Security Engineer, you’ll collaborate with Helpdesk Personnel in Malaysia and teams in Hong Kong to deliver support services to clients in Hong Kong and China. Our client’s clientele includes government entities and major enterprises such as banks, multinational corporations, and utilities. Job Highlights:
• 1 year of experience in IT industry
• Security protocols, Firewall & Security tech
• Knowledge of network routing and switching
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Implement, and maintain network and security solutions for Hong Kong/ China enterprise customers
• Configure firewall, VPN, and intrusion detection systems
• Implement security policies and procedures
• Respond to security incidents and provide incident response services
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience in IT industry
• Knowledge of security protocols, firewalls, and security technologies
• Knowledge of network routing and switching
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work with clients and effectively communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Any certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, CCSA, NSE or CCSE, are a plus

Working Conditions:
Our client’s office is located in the Petaling Jaya area. The standard work schedule consists of five days a week. Even if you’re collaborating with the Hong Kong team, you’ll adhere to Malaysian holidays.
Salary Range:
MYR5,000-10,000 (depends on experience and qualification)
Candidates possessing greater experience and superior qualifications will be designated as Senior Network Security Engineer or Network Security Consultant.
