System Analyst
(Work from Home, Remote Working with Hong Kong/ Macau Team)

Background
We are hiring on behalf of a well-established IT company headquartered in Macau, renowned for its expertise in software implementation and smart city initiatives. The company serves a diverse portfolio of clients, including major utilities and transportation infrastructure firms in Hong Kong, as well as government departments across Hong Kong and Macau.
To support its expanding operations, the company is seeking a talented System Analyst to join its team remotely from Malaysia. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-regional teams and clients to analyze business requirements, design effective solutions, and provide technical leadership in .NET Core and SQL Server environments. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for software development projects.
• Design and develop efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions using .NET Coreand SQL Server.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and architecture designs.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and adherence to requirements.
• Conduct system analysis and troubleshooting to resolve issues and optimize performance.
• Assist in database design, data modelling, and query optimisation in SQL Server.
• Support testing, development, and post-deployment activities.
• Provide ongoing support and enhancements based on user feedback.
Key Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.
• Familiar with .NET Core development and architecture.
• Experience with SQL Server, including query writing, stored procedures, and database optimization.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g. Angular, React) is a plus.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Knowledge with GIS system in particular ArcGIS Pro• Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development.
Candidates with greater experience and stronger qualifications may be considered for the position of Senior Analyst
