Job Overview:
Our client, an innovative IT firm based in Hong Kong, is expanding into Malaysia, setting up an office to enhance support for its Hong Kong operations. As a software consultant, you will play a crucial role in working with sales team based in Hong Kong, to provide technical advice, support, and consulting for products & services carried by our client. Our client’s clientele includes government entities and major enterprises such as banks, multinational corporations, and utilities. Roles & Responsibilities:
• To provide technical pre-sales technical support for products & services carried by our clients.
• To join and assist Sales in customer meetings, including demonstrating products.
• To create and manage training programs and conduct training for customers.
• To liaise with other regional offices on support/service-related matters (future).
• Write technical proposals.
• Working with management and engineering staff to identify product/technology needs.
• Building partnerships with companies to pursue specific opportunities and enhance product offerings.
• Coordinate meetings, trainings, and seminars with the customer to demonstrate the value proposition of tech solutions.
• Explore potential customer needs and project opportunities at all stages of the project and provide timely feedback on effective information.
• During the project implementation process, cooperate with the project manager to support the smooth implementation of the plan and achieve the project goal.
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience in the IT industry
• The ability to learn new products quickly and comprehensively to offer solutions to potential clients.
• Demonstrated business experience working with and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work with clients and effectively communicate
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and team-building ability.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Working Conditions:
Our client’s office is located in the Petaling Jaya area. The standard work schedule consists of five days a week. Even if you’re collaborating with the Hong Kong team, you’ll adhere to Malaysian holidays.
Salary Range:
MYR5,000-10,000 (depends on experience and qualification)
Candidates possessing greater experience and superior qualifications will be designated as Senior Software Consultant.
