Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design and edit key website pages to align with campaigns and business objectives, addressing any graphic issues.
• Implement new design requests while staying updated on market trends to produce innovative and attractive web content.
• Skills include excellent composition, typography, and image editing for optimal display across desktop and mobile browsers.
• Consider client objectives and strategies to balance both form and function, emphasizing strong design principles and meticulous attention to detail.
• Participate in the design, development, testing, and implementation of web-based applications and APIs.
• Investigate and resolve application-related issues to ensure system performance and coding quality.
• Collaborate closely with the business team to meet project requirements and schedules.
• Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in services and applications being developed.
• Proficient in web coding languages such as CSS, HTML, and JavaScript to manipulate page appearance and behaviour effectively.
Requirements:
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
• A minor certificate or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related discipline would be advantageous.
• 2-4 years of experience in web design and development.
• Proficiency in:
– WordPress development is essential.
– Strong skills in PHP/Laravel development.
– Familiarity with other CMS and/or Headless CMS platforms is highly advantageous.
• Working experience with expertise in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and Laravel, along with a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, would be advantageous.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of responsive web design principles.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Good understanding of colors, layout, and typography.
• Passionate about creative visualization and graphic design.
• Ability to manage own workflow and juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset.

Working Conditions:
This is a remote position based in Malaysia, working closely with our Hong Kong team. The standard work schedule is five days a week.
Salary Range:
MYR3,000-4,500 (depends on experience and qualification)
Candidates possessing greater experience and superior qualifications will be designated as Senior Web Designer & Developer and will receive a higher salary.
